It is located in the Junín Region, Jauja Province, Canchayllo District.〔 Wiraqucha lies east of the lakes named Llaksaqucha, Mankhaqucha and Chakip'aki ''(Chaquipaque)'', south of Challwaqucha and north of the mountain named Chakip'aki.
